George-Axelle Broussillon Matschinga

The Vice-President of Diversity of Harvard Kennedy School’s Student Government and an Arthur Sachs Fellow, George-Axelle Broussillon Matschinga is an International Diversity Expert. Committed to recruiting and advancing minorities and women in the workplace for more than ten years, she is one of the first Diversity managers in France. In 2005, she joined L’Oréal and co-designed the group’s inaugural Global Diversity policy and strategies. There, she led cutting-edge initiatives in Europe and in the US: she created L’Oréal’s first Diversity Career Fairs and Report, co-wrote the first Company Parent-Friendly Charter in France supported by the Ministry of Labor, and co-designed two global gender equality certifications: EDGE and GE-ES. As the Vice-President of Diversity of the International Social Audit Institute, she initiated and co-wrote the first Encyclopedia of Diversity Management in France, and authored several articles. She regularly speaks in conferences and on media. Currently a mid-career MPA candidate at Harvard Kennedy School, she is graduated from ESCP Europe Business School. She also holds a Master’s Degree in HR, Communication and Negotiation from CELSA-Sorbonne University, and bachelors in Sociology and in Philosophy. Member of “Le Club du 21ème Siècle”, she is a committed mentor for students.
