Marie Trellu Kane

An ESSEC Business School and Harvard Kennedy School graduate (MC-MPA 2012), Marie co-founded and has been leading for 20 years Unis-Cité, a French pioneer national youth service organization, which inspired one of its country’s main social and youth policies: the “French National Civic Service”. As a freelance consultant, she has worked with the United Nations on promoting youth mobilization in Africa, and with businesses on their private responsibility. At ESSEC Business School, she taught social entrepreneurship, and founded the first social incubator and venture philanthropic fund in France. She is author of three books, Knight in the French National Order of Merit, member of the French Economic, Social and Environmental Council, Board Member of the International Association for National Youth Service and Ashoka Senior Fellow since 2010.
