Daniel Sabbagh



PhD in political science, Daniel Sabbagh is research supervisor at Sciences Po (Centre de Recherches Internationales). A specialist of Franch and American anti-discrimination policies, he authored Equality and Transparency: A Strategic Perspective on Affirmative Action in American Law and co-directed Fair Access to Higher Education : Global Perspectives.

On the other side of the mirror, a book drawing a comparison between France and the US, is soon to be published.

For 15 years, he has been co-leading, with Gwénaële Calvès, a seminar on anti-discrimination policies. On this topic, he published articles in many prominent journals and provided expertise to clients such as the European Commission, UNDP or the South African Republic.

In the past, Daniel Sabbagh was visiting fellow at the University of Chicago, Yale New York, New York University and Columbia. He also used to be the chair of the scientific committee of the multi-annual program of the French American Foundation « Equality of Opportunity in Education and Employment : French and American Perspectives » (2006-2011). He is a board member of the Alliance of Research on Discriminations (ARDIS).
