Bruno Perreau

Bruno Perreau is the Cynthia L. Reed Professor, and Associate Professor of French Studies at MIT. He is a Faculty Associate at the Center for European Studies, Harvard. Perreau is the author of several books in French on political institutions, kinship, and bioethics. He has recently published The Politics of Adoption (MIT Press, 2014), Queer Theory: The French Response (Stanford University Press, 2016), and Les Défis de la République: Genre, Territoires, Citoyenneté (with Joan W. Scott, Presses de Sciences Po, 2017). He is currently working on a new book project on minority presence.
